Transactions
In Allo, a transaction refers to the movement of funds or assets within a deal. This can include investments, distributions, fees, and expenses. Transactions are recorded and tracked within the Allocations platform to provide a clear and transparent view of deal activity.
There are several types of transactions that can occur in Allocations, including:
Investments: When a limited partner (LP) invests in a deal, the investment is recorded as a transaction. This includes the amount invested, the date of the investment, and any relevant details about the investment.
Distributions: When a general partner (GP) distributes cash or assets to LPs, the distribution is recorded as a transaction. This includes the amount distributed, the date of the distribution, and any relevant details about the distribution.
Fees: When fees are paid to the GP or other service providers, the fee payment is recorded as a transaction. This includes the amount of the fee, the date of the payment, and any relevant details about the fee.
Expenses: When expenses are incurred by the deal, such as accounting or legal fees, the expense is recorded as a transaction. This includes the amount of the expense, the date of the expense, and any relevant details about the expense.
Transactions are an important part of the Allo platform, as they provide a clear and transparent view of deal activity. By tracking transactions, users can see exactly how funds are being used and how assets are being managed.
